California Bar Exam Flashcards
A flashcard is a retrieval exercise, not a miniature outline to reread. Try saying the complete rule before turning the card over.
Open interactive flashcardsUse the front as a real question
Choose a subject and work with a small group of cards. Before revealing an answer, identify the doctrine and list its elements. If an element is missing, mark the card for another review even if the answer looks familiar.
When a card includes a California distinction, recall the baseline rule first and then identify what changes. Keep the two parts distinct so that a California essay rule does not replace the federal rule in MBE-style practice.
Shuffle after you understand the topic
Studying related cards together helps establish the initial framework. Shuffling then removes the cue supplied by the previous card and tests whether you can recognize the doctrine on its own.
Do not mark a rule mastered merely because you recognized its wording. Explain when it applies and give a short fact variation that would change the analysis. This bridges the gap between remembering a sentence and using it.
Know what is saved
Free visitors can flip and shuffle the 15 samples. Subject purchases unlock their decks. Complete customers can save typed answers and notes and use the existing review ratings and spaced-repetition schedule.
Session-only marks on free and non-Complete decks are not a permanent study record. Your package comparison and dashboard explain which progress tools are included, without requiring a new purchase to retain existing entitlements.
