Privacy & optional analytics
Flash Bar LLC uses account information to provide sign-in, purchase access and study tools. Saved flashcard answers, notes and practice attempts are associated with your account. Stripe processes payments; Flash Bar stores order information for access and receipts. Authorized administrators can manage customer access and content.
Reviews & feedback
When you submit feedback, we store your name, email address, optional rating and message in our database and send an owner notification through Resend. Submissions are private, accessible only to authorized administrators, and are not automatically published as testimonials. We keep a daily hash of network information to limit spam; raw IP addresses are not stored with your feedback. We retain messages for support and product improvement. Contact flashbarllc@gmail.com to request correction or deletion.
Optional visitor analytics
After you accept analytics, we store page paths, event types, coarse referral categories and a random 30-minute visit identifier. Signed-in events can be linked to your account in the owner-only dashboard. We never record passwords, answers, notes, URL query strings or audio in analytics. Visit events are retained for up to 90 days, with expired records removed during subsequent collection. Declining stops future analytics collection. Our dashboard cannot identify or email anonymous visitors.
Optional emails and voice input
Promotional study reminders and offers require a separate optional opt-in and email confirmation. Resend delivers these messages. Use the unsubscribe link in any promotional message or Email preferences to stop them; essential account and purchase emails continue. We retain consent and suppression records to respect your choice. No SMS is sent. Voice input starts only when you press Start dictation. Your browser may send audio to its speech-recognition provider; Flash Bar does not record or upload audio. The transcript stays in the page until you copy it or clear it. Do not dictate confidential information.
Optional Google Analytics
When the owner enables an authorized GA4 property, Google Analytics loads only after you choose Accept analytics. Declining does not limit study or purchase access. The consent choice is stored in a first-party cookie for up to one year. You can reopen Analytics preferences at the bottom of the page to change your choice.
Events measure sign-ups, package views, checkout starts, verified purchase returns, sample use, flashcard engagement and MBE-style practice starts and completions. Event payloads do not include your name, email, account ID, answers, notes or URL query strings. Purchase events use a one-way transaction reference and the purchase amount. Google may process device and network information and use analytics cookies after consent. Advertising signals and personalization are disabled by this implementation.
Operational services
Necessary authentication and checkout functions work independently of optional analytics. The site also retains its existing Vercel Analytics integration for deployment-level usage measurement. Study records are stored in the connected database, and receipt and account-support emails use the existing email service.
Questions and requests
Contact flashbarllc@gmail.com about access to, correction of or deletion of your information. Identity verification and applicable record-retention obligations may affect a request.
